The RDA has several opportunities for vendors during many River District Alliance events including artists for Art Walk; musical performers for Music Walk and general vendors (including food and drink) during our three largest events: Downtown Countdown on New Year’s Eve and Downtown July 4th Freedom Fest. Vendors will be invited to participate once their application is accepted. Please read the list of guidelines for each event before applying.

Events will run rain or shine – no refunds

vendor space

  • Vendor agrees to occupy only his assigned space and to remain open and staffed during the full hours of the event.
  • Vendor agrees to set up, be operational and tear down at the times requested by the RDA. Prior to the event, you will receive full set up instructions specific to your exact location.
  • Vendor agrees that they are not allowed to sublet their space.
  • Vendors must be prepared for all types of weather.
  • Generators must be pre-approved by the RDA and must be quiet. We do not provide electricity and there will be no outlets available.
  • Vendor is responsible for all set up, tear down and cleanup of their area. Vendor area is to be kept clean and orderly at all times.
  • Vendor is to leave the area in the same condition in which it was found. Failure to do so will result in denial of application acceptance in future years.
  • Vendors may not use megaphones or any other noise making device to solicit/advertise their booth.


  • Fire Marshall inspections will take place several hours before the event. It is the responsibility of the vendor to be aware of and compliant with the Fire Marshall inspection guidelines.


  • Vendor is responsible for the collection and payment of Florida Sales Tax – 6.5%.

Liability & Security

  • The River District Alliance, the volunteers, the City of Fort Myers, the sponsoring organizations, any other duly appointed representatives and the employees, agents, officers of each are not responsible for loss or damages of any kind arising out of or in connection with the festival.
  • Receipt of application does not guarantee a vendor space, as spaces are limited. A paid and accepted reservation is a binding commitment to exhibit at the festival.

By signing this application, you agree to obey all Vendor Policies. In consideration of the RDA acceptance of the vendor’s application, the vendor releases and forever discharges the above-named groups and individuals from any personal liability or responsibility. Vendors are responsible for the security, protection and insurance of their own equipment and merchandise.

    I am submitting this application to be a vendor in River District Alliance's event and agree that acceptance of my application commits me to participate in this event - rain or shine. I understand that once initial notification of acceptance is given via email or phone no refunds will be given. I have read all the attached Guidelines and Information and agree to abide by them and any other rules as may be established and acknowledge that River District Alliance reserves the right to make final interpretation of all the Rules.

    I Understand that there are no refunds or rain checks due to inclement weather or other acts of God. I release and forever discharge the River District Alliance, the volunteers, the City of Fort Myers, the sponsoring organizations, and any other duly appointed representatives and the employees, agents, officers of each from any responsibility, personal liability, loss or damages arising out of or in connection with this festival.
