FORT MYERS, Fla. (Mar. 18, 2020) – The City of Fort Myers is creating designated restaurant pickup zones and relaxing parking enforcement surrounding restaurants located in downtown Fort Myers. In response to recent concerns about COVID-19 and congregating in public spaces, the city is making accommodations for pickup and delivery in an effort to help businesses and customers adapt to changing conditions. Residents and visitors are encouraged to support local establishments while observing Centers for Disease Control (CDC) guidelines for prevention of COVID-19, including social distancing and limiting gatherings to 10 people or less.
