Our Opening Night Party featuring 65 festival artists under the stars, takes place on Friday evening, from 6 to 10 PM. Be sure to arrive at the festival early, to enjoy and purchase the works of 200 professional artists from across the United States and beyond. Take time to visit with the artists, who are always on hand to discuss their work, and find out what inspires them. Original oils and acrylics, vibrant watercolor, unique sculpture and metal, dazzling jewelry, decorative ceramics, glittering glass, imaginative mixed media, vivid photography and more provide something for everyone’s collection and budget. The quality of art is always superb, as only the best of the best are invited, after a panel of independent artists reviewed the work of over 800 artists who applied for the festival. Exciting components of ArtFest Fort Myers include Art Under 20, the largest Lee County high school art competition; Art on the Street, an Italian Street painting competition, the Publix Art Yard, where everyone is invited to become creative, plus exceptional international and waterfront Dining Galleries and fabulous music.
