Fort Myers, Fl (February 15, 2012) - The Sidney & Berne Davis Art Center presents an exciting new lecture series this season, the Famous Author Luncheon Series. The lectures are sponsored by FineMark National Bank & Trust, in partnership with the Nick Linn Lecture Series and the Friends of the Library of Collier County. The Davis Art Center is located at 2301 First Street, in the River District, downtown Fort Myers.
The author Andrew Gross will speak on Monday, March 12. Gross is the last lecturer of three authors in the series, which included Brad Meltzer on February 12 and James Rollins on February 21. All three are national bestselling authors. The lecture/luncheon begins at 11 a.m. with a VIP reception. A salad luncheon by Frisco's Catering will be served at noon, in the Grand Atrium of the historic Davis Art Center.
Andrew Gross is the author of five national and international bestsellers, including Reckless, The Blue Zone, Don’t Look Twice, and The Dark Tide, which was nominated for the Best Thriller of the Year Award by the International Thriller Writers. He is also co-author with James Patterson of five #1 international bestselling novels, including Judge & Jury and Lifeguard. Over a seven-year period, Gross co-wrote six novels with Patterson, which became The Women's Murder Club Series, one of the leading crime fiction series of all time. His latest novel is a stand alone titled Eyes Wide Open. Released in July 2011, it became an instant bestseller.
The Gold Circle VIP Reception will begin at 11 a.m. Lunch will be served at noon, with the lecture beginning at 1 p.m.
