FORT MYERS, FL. -- Last year, the Lee County Student Film Festival had over 350 entries submitted. These entries included over 30 different schools and over 1,500 students participated. This year looks to be even bigger and better than ever. Now, The Lee County Student Film Festival is very proud to announce a new partnership with the Fort Myers Film Festival, who supports local filmmakers and local students pursuing filmmaking. This new partnership provides:

a)      Waived fees for all Lee County School students for the 2012 year who submit their previous year's submission through Jan. 31, 2012.

b)      Prizes to the Overall 2012 Student Film Festival winner including but not limited to: $200, a scholarship to Rasmussen College, tickets to the festival's opening night gala at the Barbara B.
