December 19, 2011 - Musical Instrument Donation Drive Begins Tuesday

Fort Myers, Fl (December 19, 2011) - The Sidney and Berne Davis Art Center (SBDAC) will kick off the Fort Myers Music Exchange, a new ongoing musical instrument donation drive in partnership with the Quality Life Center, at SBDAC on Tuesday, December 20, 2011 at 4:30pm with the presentation of a clarinet to Cierra White.

Marty Pulner, of Fort Myers, started this donation drive with the gift of a clarinet to be placed with a child in need. Mr. Pulner is a member of the SBDAC Board of Directors. Cadence Music of Fort Myers restored the clarinet.

 

Quality Life Center has been providing educational tutoring and mentoring services to children since 1992. Through a holistic approach they strive to help the children and the family to manage their day-to-day challenges and to help those in need to gain a better quality life.

 

If you would like to donate to this program, you can bring your gently used musical instruments to the Sidney & Berne Davis Art Center at 2301 First Street, Fort Myers, FL 33901. Monetary donations are also appreciated to support the refurbishment of donated instruments.
