August 19, 2011 - Music Walk 1 Year Anniversary
Fort Myers, Fl (August 19, 2011) - The monthly Music Walk returns August 20th to the downtown Fort Myers River District for its 1 Year Anniversary. The first 400 attendants of the 1 Year Anniversary on August 20th will be able to get a free Music Walk guitar pick manufactured by Clayton Guitar Picks. Guitar picks will be evenly distributed among the venues. Additionally, a limited edition 1 Year Anniversary button will also be available at the venues. Blue Music Walk balloons will decorate the historic downtown streets.

Music Walk venues showcase a variety of music, from punk, rockabilly, indie, reggae, and folk, to piano, steel drums, and more. The event is the largest of its kind regionally. Music Walk is an all ages event that starts at 7 p.m. and goes until 10 p.m. or close at many venues. Free parking available.
Highlights of this Saturdays Music Walk include:
HOWL Gallery/Tattoo – Featuring original bands Jose Garzon,Justin Bryant, Sailing With Ghosts, and Marionetta on the HOWL back patio. Inside HOWL will be free numerology readings by Semi-Circle Numerology. Numerology card sets, with art designed by tattoo artist and gallery co-owner Andy Howl, will be available for pre-order. Spirits of Bacchus - Featuring live music by Diane Russell Band. Special 1 Year Anniversary Music Walk drink Three Olives Shooters for $3.00 French Connection - Featuring blues guitarist Mike Imbasciani. Ask for the Special 1 Year Anniversary Drink special! Red Rock Saloon - Featuring Stolen Fruit on stage and steel drums outside. Downtown House of Pizza - Featuring music by Frankie Colt. Special 1 Year Anniversary 18oz draft all night!
City Tavern - Featuring The Drunk Monkeys. Starts at 9:30 p.m.
