The Fort Myers Recreation Division strives to offer leisure and recreational activities for individuals and families throughout our city. By offering activities such as dance lessons, arts and crafts classes, summer and holiday camps for youth, swimming, tennis, indoor and outdoor athletic leagues, ice skating, after school programs, and much more, the Recreation Division serves thousands of our citizens and visitors each year from young children to the young at heart.
Recreation refreshes one's mind or body through activity that amuses or stimulates. Research has shown that recreation contributes to quality of life, health and happiness.

The Recreation Division Administrative office is located at 1820 Hendry Street at the corner of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard and Hendry Street in downtown Fort Myers. To inquire or sign-up for programs, drop by during regular office hours of 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.
