Critical Mass Picnic and Bike Ride

Date: Aug 07, 2015
Come celebrate our 2 year Anniversary and enjoy a Critically Massive casual ride through downtown and the historic neighborhoods around the Edison home.
This will be a Potluck style Picnic Party and Ride. The feast and good times begin at 5:30, - clean up will start at about 7:15 and then we will roll from there at 8:00 sharp. Grab your bikes and invite all your friends! There will also be an AfterMASS downtown.
Regarding parking and food: Bring a dish to share on the smorgasbord of eats. We suggest that you swing by Centennial Park pavilion to drop off your food with a CM volunteer, then park at the usual spot in the empty lot across from Publix, then roll your bike back over to the park and let the fun begin. We have to clean up before we ride, so keep that in mind with whatever type of serving dish you bring (consider bringing your item(s) in a disposable dish.
The officers at FMPD have graciously offered to help with the corking and traffic.
REMINDER: Lights are required (free at the ride if you have none). Wear a helmet to protect your head (loaners in new condition available at the ride). The ride distance is right around 11 miles, with a 10 minute break at the Edison Restaurant. We travel at 8-10 mph
